An elderly Tibetan man with a prayer wheel in his hand sat in a corner of Taumadhi Square
Perhaps because there are no refugee camps or Tibetan Buddhist holy places around, unlike Kathmandu, I did not see many Tibetans in Bhaktapur. Contrary to my impression, I saw a Tibetan man when I was walking around Taumadhi Square with this thought in mind.
An elderly Tibetan with prayer beads and a prayer wheel in his hand was sitting on a staircase in a corner of the square. I thought he was simply resting, but upon closer inspection, I found that the prayer wheel was spinning and he was mumbling something. He may have been chanting a sutra while he was sitting down to rest.
