Jizo In Hasedera (Kanagawa)

About this photo

Shot at Hasedera, a Buddhist temple in Kamakura, Kanagawa. Many statues of Ksitigarbha were lined up in the precinct. These statues were called 'Jizo' in Japan. All of them were smiling and holding a sacred gem with both hands.
