Shot in Central Yangon, Myanmar.
The young woman was working in a stall. Like other people here, she also painted Thanaka on her body. It was painted on not only her face but also her neck. Seemingly, she disliked acquiring a tan so much. To avoid to get a burn meant beautiful skin same as in Japan. Yet it was rather removed. I saw vestige on her both cheeks.
After I held my camera, she looked straight at me while she clamped her lips. To be shot seemed to make her harden.
