Shot at Thanlyin Myo Ma Market in Thanlyin, Myanmar.
Like other markets, most of the people worked in this market were female. The Burmese men could work in the fields at the same time. The woman in this photo was one of the workers in the market. She put her articles for sale by the wayside and did business there.
What she wore was a black shirt. I thought many local people wore brightly colored clothes in this country. So not only the articles for sale here but also the people wriggling here were vivid. It is said that the degrees of latitude have a considerable effect on the color which the local people prefer. The sun is strong in Myanmar. So the Burmese people seemed to like to wear vivid clothes.
At any rate, the woman talked with her customer cheerfully while she had some bills in her hands.
