When I walked around the old quarter, I found minaret sometimes. However, the old town was not so vast, many mosques were built in this area. All of minarets were box-shaped here. And they were towering in the dense zone.
There were no multistoried architectures in the old town. So it stood out. In earlier years, it was used for the call to prayer with a loud voice by those who was on the top. Yet the speakers were stationed in the place nowadays.
