Pottery Figurine At The Entrance

Pottery figurine at the entrance

A pig-shaped figurine was place at the entrance

Shot in the city of Kitasenju, Tokyo.

I was walking the streets in the residential area. It was a lazy afternoon. Walking in a bath of sweat, I found a pottery figurine placed at the entrance of a house. The door was open and the bamboo blind was hung. And the pig-shaped figurine was put on the ground.

It opened its mouth wide while it stared into empty space. It contained the pyrethrum coil and exhaled the smoke from its mouth. In contrast with its cute appearance, it was powers of evil for the mosquitoes which wanted to enter into the house.
