This town was one of the post stations built on the route of Nikko Kaido Way and Oshu Kaido Way. After walking along the old Way, I was being separated emotionally from the Way. The Way didn't attract me so much. I get sidetracked and entered into the residential area.
In the meantime, I came to a modest Shinto shrine. A stone Torii stood at the entrance. And a wooden hall was seen at the end of the approach way. A worshiper was standing in front of the hall and praying. This small shrine was dedicated to Daikokuten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods. Because it was a god of commerce and prosperity, I went to the hall and prayed to hope that something good will be happening.
