The lane was dim and silent. This kind of lane was not comfortable to relax for human beings. Yet the silence might raise the cat's flag. They could be lazy and relax without being interrupted by human beings. At any rate, there were no natural-born enemies there. They could stretch out in good conscience.
When I came to a street corner, I found a cat lying flat. It seemed to become accustomed to people. Even though I approached, it didn't move an inch. Because it was torquate, it could be a house cat. The owner took it under the wing. So the cat was not afraid of people, including a stranger. Yet to be interested in my camera was another cup of tea. Focusing it, it didn't cast an eye on me. It kept looking upward. And it looked into the distance.
