Shot in the city of Malda, India.
Crossing a bridge spanned over the Mahananda River. From above, I found some women standing at the edge of the water. A heap of the laundry was put beside them. It was common to wash laundries in the river here. Yet they seemed to have finished the washing already.
On the other hand, two men were washing their body in the armlet. There were no differences between to wash the body and to wash the laundry here. At any rate, they wash with the river water.
