When I was crossing the bridge spanned over the Mahananda River, I found many objects on the riverbank. They were fresh-laundered saree and put on the ground to dry. They were colorful and added beauty to the riverside.
Some people were unfolding the laundries from one to the next. I wondered how many saree they washed in a day. And the amount was too much to reclaim as quick as thought when it started to rain.
