There is a unique shop near my house in Gakugei-Daigaku of Tokyo. It is a coin washer called 'FREDDY LECK sein WASCHSALON'. Of course, there are many coin washers in Tokyo. The difference between this coin washer and others is the atmosphere. This coin washer is wittily practical.
I associate the name of coin washer with the modest place. And it reminds me of young people who don't have any washing machines in their homes. However, this coin washer was not kind of that. The interior was simple and smart.
There is more. A chic cafe is open in the shop. And it is possible to wait for finishing washing while drinking a cup of coffee here. As it is named, it is not just a coin washer, it is a salon for a local community at the same time.
When I took this photo, it was night. The cafe was closed already. Yet some people were seen washing with the washing machines on the other side of the fence.
