Many figures were seen in the shallow water of the Mahananda River. Some women were washing clothes on the edge of the water and men were washing their bodies. Their common point was to wash. The armlet looked like a public bath.
Yet it was uncommon to see men washing laundries and it was also uncommon to see women washing the body in the river water. Seemingly, the gender role was clear here. I didn't know it was influenced by Hinduism or not.
