A 10-minute walk from the area with a high concentration of tea vendors, you will reach the Ningxia Night Market. It is a short walk, and you will find yourself there before you know it. There are many night markets in Taiwan, including those in Taipei, and all of them are tourist attractions. The atmosphere of the street lined with food stalls reminds me of a Japanese fair.
The major difference between a Japanese fair and a Taiwanese night market is that in Japan, food stalls only appear during festivals, but in Taiwan, they are permanent. The night market in Taiwan is a permanent event. I think it would be better to turn it into a shopping street.
Since I came here without giving it much thought, the stalls at the Ningxia Night Market were not yet open for business. The passageway that runs through the middle of the night market was also deserted. As I walked along, I saw a mother and a young girl. The mother grabbed a night market worker and asked him something. I wondered if she was lost. While the mother was asking, the little girl was holding on to her mother's clothes.
