Relaxing Jizo

relaxing jizo
Shot at Denzu-In, a Buddhist temple in Koishikawa, Tokyo tetsuOzawa

The statue seemed to have a snooze

The precinct was deserted and silent. When I entered into it, I found a statue of jizo. It was just relaxing while it put its cheek on his hand. Apparently, it was falling asleep. And of course, it didn't open its eyes even though I stood in front of it. Maybe, it had nothing to do because there were few worshiper in the precinct. It was a peaceful afternoon. Its tranquil face was a sign of the uneventful city.
