There were three statues of Jizo in the precinct. Although their faces were similar and all of them were wearing a cap, what they had in their hands were different from each other.
The left one had a big prayer beads, the mid one had a script and the right one had a hammer. I could understand the reason why there were a prayer beads and a script in some vague way. Yet I couldn't understand why the statue had a hammer in its hand. I wondered it had a hammer to kick a habit.
