I get tired of finding them at the beach, but when I see them at the aquarium, I feel a little happier. Jellyfish are strange creatures.
After paying the admission fee and entering Aqua Park Shinagawa, I walked on, not paying attention to the attractions or the cafe bar, and found myself there in no time at all. This is the Jellyfish Ramble, a space with a large cylindrical tank with jellyfish inside. There are many jellyfish swimming carefree in the tank. It was more than enough to convince me that the word "deadline" must not be in the dictionary of these jellyfish.
It seems that jellyfish are booming these days. It is said that many people find the jellyfish's shrinking activities soothing. It is true that watching them expand and contract at a leisurely pace makes me feel a bit relieved. In addition, the jellyfish are illuminated by a light that changes every hour, making them look fantastic. The jellyfish in the tank are so beautiful.
You might think that if jellyfish are so beautiful, you won't feel bad about finding them at the beach anymore. However, you would be foolish to think so. The beauty of the jellyfish in the tank is a production of the aquarium. Moreover, we should not forget that we are looking at them from a safe zone where we cannot be stung. The natural world is much more serious, and a jellyfish sting is painful.
