The district, with its narrow alleys, was a quiet space where no cars could enter. There was no noise in the alleys, no engine noise, and as I walked along, time seemed to flow peacefully. This quietness must be comfortable for the animals. I was sure the animals must have felt comfortable in this tranquility, as they could spend their time freely, without fear of being run over by a car.
As I walked down the alley, sure enough, I saw a number of cats. The alleyway was like a hideout for cats. The cat in the photo was one of them, sitting in the middle of the alley. When I turned the corner, the cat seemed surprised by my sudden intrusion. It seemed to tense up and then watch my movements for a while.
However, it did not run away. Instead, it stuck its head out slightly and stared at me with sharp eyes. It looked as if it was asking, “Who are you? The expression on the cat's face as it stared at me was as if it was asking me, “Who are you? The expression on the cat's face as it stared at me was a mixture of wild caution and curiosity, and I couldn't help but stop and catch its gaze.
