After passing through the gate, several stalls were set up in a slightly open area. These are called 'five farmers'. This is the precincts of Konpira Shrine. Not everyone is allowed to do business here. The five stalls that are allowed to do business within the grounds of the shrine are called five farmers. But when I visited, only two were open for business. I wondered where the other three had gone. Perhaps they were closed that day.

Because of the large number of worshippers who visit Konpira Shrine here, there must be many people who would like to do business here. If you open a shop on the approach to the shrine, where many worshippers pass by, you can be sure that many customers will pass by on their own without any particular advertising.
