The main shrine of Konpiragu Shrine is located halfway up a mountain called Zozu. The view from the main shrine is very nice, even though it is a difficult climb. As I looked around, I could see the silhouettes of unnamed mountains on the ground and a thin layer of clouds in the sky.

It had been a hard road to get here, climbing more than 700 steps, one by one. The view from here was like a reward for enduring such hardship. Even if you are not interested in shrines and Shinto, it is worth the climb to get the view from here.
