The girl was running to school
I walked a deserted street, heading for a Shinto shrine. Because it was morning, few pedestrians were walking. The sun was soft and the most part of the street was covered with the soft shadows of buildings. The atmosphere was calm.
It was a weekday. So it was not a school holiday. I found a little school girl carrying a satchel on her back. She was scurrying because she might be late for her school. There were no other school kids in the street.
