Shinto Priest Walking The Corridor

Shinto priest walking corridor

The Shinto priest carried a small table

Shot at Kotohira-Gu, a Shinto shrine in Kotohira, Kagawa.

During watching the corridor of the main hall, Shinto priests passed occasionally. The priest in this photo was one of them. He wore a traditional costume and carried a small table. He seemed to go back to the office after he finished a ritual.

Because he walked in a brisk pace, he might be busy. He could have many things to do. Many worshipers came to this famous shrine. That meant the deities enshrined here were also busy.
