A thick tree stood near the main hall of this shrine. Three wires were seen on its trunk. And many paper fortunes were fastened to the trunk. Because there were so many slips that the tree seemed to wear some belts.
I wondered whether the tree was tight-fitting or not. The wires were so tight that the trunk couldn't get bigger. Although I didn't know why, the wires reminded me a bound feet which was a custom in old Chinese culture.
