The highways in this big city were often built on the waterways or the river because of the shortage of land. Nothing could be done about that at the time of the construction. Yet they are impairing scenery at the same time. Two highways were built also on the Nihonbashi river.
When I stopped on the Edo-Bashi bridge spanned over the river, I couldn't see the sky when I looked up. The sky was occupied by two highways.
