Curtain At The Entrance

Shop curtain of restaurant

The shop curtain was winding in the wind

Shot in the city of Ningyocho, Tokyo.

The name of this city means 'City of Dolls'. It is said there was a marionette theater and many puppet masters lived in this area. Around the subway station, the entertainment district spreads.

When I walked around the area, I found an old fashioned restaurant. According to its signboard, it serves western food. Yet a Japanese-style shop curtain was hung on the eaves. I felt the compromise between East and West here.
