Pedestrians On Nihonbashi Bridge

Pedestrians on Nihonbashi Bridge

The pedestrians were coming and going on the bridge

Shot on Nihonbashi bridge in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

Many pedestrians were walking on the Nihonbashi bridge. Although the bridge was a long history, it is now under the highway unfortunately. When I stopped in the midst of the bridge, I could see two statues on the opposite side.

The creatures which had wings looked like dragons. Yet they were not dragons but Qilins, a mythical hooved chimerical creature. I thought it was uncommon to be depicted with wings. They might be made in the image of the dragon which was a symbol of the City of London.
