It was cloudy and a light rain was falling. The Zhinan Temple is built on top of a mountain, so I could catch a glimpse of Taipei city through the clouds in the distance. If the weather had been better, the view from here would have been even more spectacular.
As you look at the cityscape, you can see that there are not many tall buildings. But there is one silhouette that stretches high into the sky. It is the silhouette of Taipei 101. The tallest building in the country, it stood out in the haze of the cityscape and showed its presence even under the dark clouds.
