There were several cats gathered near the food stall, perhaps expecting leftovers

There was a mobile food stall on a busy intersection in Jakarta. Although the stall is on wheels so that it can be moved, this stall is always operating at this location. Rather than a food stall, it might be better to call it a temporary store. Inside the stall, there were a number of plates with food on them, and beyond that, some tables were placed. The tables were crowded with people.

Where people gather, there is food. It is understandable that the cat thinks so. They will be able to get leftover food from humans. A number of cats were hanging out by the side of the stall.

It was still time for humans to enjoy their meal. The leftovers would only be served after the humans' mealtime was over. The cats' time hadn't come yet. Most of the cats froze and slept.

But only one cat was up and moving. It was peeking under the stall. It seemed to be looking for something to eat. It looked like a human checking the vending machine to see if there was any change left over.
