There was an air of calm in Myo Ma Market. There were shoppers, but it was not crowded. It was a country town market. A women's clothing store I passed by was also enveloped in a quiet atmosphere. The store is filled with a variety of clothing, but there are no customers, and the shopkeepers are bored with their work. The girl in the photo was one of those who were bored.

The girl was sitting on a plastic chair at the front of the store, relaxing. She was probably idly waiting for customers to arrive. The dress she was wearing was brightly colored. It was colored in blue and red with black as the base color. Although the girl was wearing a Western-style dress, the color scheme was reminiscent of that of a traditional costume. I am not sure if it was intentional or not, but the girl with black hair was also wearing black sandals.

When I pointed the camera at the girl, she smiled at me with a bit of a wry smile. Her face was, of course, painted thanaka.
