Woman Praying In Jindai-ji

Worshipers rolling in

The worshipers came in a stream

Shot at Jindai-Ji, a Buddhist temple in Chofu, Tokyo.

This temple is the second oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo after Senso-Ji. It is believed that this temple was built in 733. So it was also famous and many prayers visit. A woman in the photo was one of the worshipers. When her turn came, she stopped in front of the main hall. And she started to pray seriously while she put her hands together.

By the way, it was said that you had to tell your address to the deity in the mind to deliver the hope to the deities.
