According to the legend, the Atsuta Jingu Shrine in Nagoya was founded in the reign of Emperor KeikoEmperor Keiko. The year is 113 in the western calendar. Too old, unfortunately, to be questionable. According to history textbooks, 113 A.D. was before the Roman Empire was divided into East and West in Europe and the Yayoi period in Japan. Nevertheless, it is true that the Kusanagi Sword, one of the three sacred weapons, is enshrined here, so it must have a long and storied history.
After passing through the long, dense approach, I saw a magnificent hall of worship standing there. I could see a few worshippers just paying their respects at the hall of worship, which had a number of Katsuogi.
