Many of the people working at the Myo Ma Market seemed to be bored. Some were sitting on the side of the aisles in the market, chatting with each other. It seems that this is not the time of day when many shoppers come to the market. People with too much time on their hands have nothing to do but play with their phones or chat with their colleagues. The woman in the photo, dressed in dark blue, was one of those who were killing time.
The woman sitting on a chair at the end of the aisle was killing time while chatting with a colleague, probably not carrying a smartphone. As I was about to walk past her, the woman noticed me and raised her arm as if she had remembered something. She began to bellow something to me while holding up her index finger.
The woman said something out loud, and the colleagues around us all laughed at once. Unfortunately, I don't know what she said, but from the reactions of the people around me, it seemed that the woman said something funny, despite her grim face. But I had no idea what was said, and all I could do was give a half-hearted fake smile.
