Found some boys playing football in the street. Once Myanmar was occupied by Britain. Yet it was uncommon to see playing cricket in the streets unlike India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Cricket didn't take root here. Seemingly, football was the most popular sport also in this country. I saw ads which signed the Burmese international football players in the downtown.
Looking closer, all the boys played barefoot. I thought they felt a pain in feet bottoms when they ran around. Yet they didn't care about it. Their feet bottoms could be much thicker than mine. And some boys wore a longyi. Besides, their ball used a Sepak takraw ball to play.
Although they didn't talk to me, all of them got conscious of a strange foreigner. In the meantime, a boy spread his longyi and another boy smiled at me while stretching his index finger.
