Man Forming A Ring

Man forming ring

Both men seemed happy

Shot in the city of Malda, India.

Two men were sitting at the entrance of a house. Both of them showed their white teeth and seemed to be happy when I focused on them. And the right whiskered man was foaming a ring while he wore a proud expression.

I wondered what he wanted to tell me with the ring. The gesture differs in meaning according to the culture. It means money in Japon. And it means an obscene gesture in some culture. So I groped for the appropriate response.
