A five-storied pagoda in this photo stood on the top of the gentle stone-paved slope. The pagoda towering in the sunlight belonged to Hokan-Ji, a Buddhist temple. According to the legend, it was originally built in 592. The old fashioned streets were still remaining in this area. And the atmosphere was nice.
When I stopped and watched the pagoda, a woman was descending and a car was climbing the slope.
