Two young children were trudging along the streets of the old city of Bhaktapur. The older one was walking ahead, and the younger one was following behind. They seemed to be brothers. There were no adults around, and the place was deserted. They were the only ones walking on the cobblestones.
I wondered where they were going. Perhaps they were embarking on a little adventure without telling the adults. The road in front of them was a path that would lead them into the unknown. But they didn't seem to be having much fun. They were trudging along as if they were walking in the wilderness.
