I have been here many times before, but this time I came again. I went to Dihua Street, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Taipei. Even if you don't buy anything, it's fun just to look at the stores lined up side by side. I was walking along Dihua Street, looking at the dried fruits on display. I learned that many stores sell goji berry on top of Almond Tofu, but none of them are made in Taiwan. When I asked the shopkeeper about them, he told me that they are not produced in Taiwan.
Going south on Dihua Street from Daqiaotou metro station, just when I was getting tired of looking at the stores, a temple appeared. It is the Taipei Xia-Hai City God temple. Although it is a small temple, it is said to have more than 600 deities enshrined within its precincts, including Xiahai City God, his wife, and the “moon god” (an elderly man under the moon). This may be a little too many deities. With more than 600 deities, there must be no such thing as a blessing that the temple cannot provide.
