It was unreliable, as if the power lines overhead had become entangled

I was walking along a not so wide street between buildings. When I looked up at the sky, I saw a clear blue sky. But what caught my eye even more than the blue sky was the electric power lines that were stretched across a fairly low area.

The wires were so high that they seemed to crawl on the ground from the clouds, giving the impression of being thin and unreliable. Not only that, they were so intricately intersected that it was as if they had become entangled. This area is dotted with upscale boutiques and sophisticated stores, and has a somewhat sophisticated atmosphere. Yet, the disorderly tangle of electric wires created a strange contrast that did not fit this image.

When you think about it, it seems difficult to figure out which wire is connected to which room in which building under such circumstances, as if you were trying to solve an amidaku lottery. I even worried unnecessarily about how they would proceed with the inspection and repair work.
