Stalls In The Approach

Stalls in approach way of Shinto shrine

A boy stopped in front of a food stall

Shot at Yushima Tenman-Gu, a Shinto shrine in Yushima, Tokyo.

Many food stalls were doing business in the approach of this shrine. Although I could see many people standing in front of the prayer hall, few people were in front of the stall. Most of the worshipers seemed to be busy to pray and not to be interested to buy something to eat. The stall keepers had nothing to do. And I worried their businesses were terrible.

Only a boy stood there. He was gazing at what was displayed there. To sate his hunger could be much more important than to pray for him.
