A woman with white-painted cheeks was working at a stall on a street corner in Pyay. It was a stall that served noodles. There are several types of noodles in Myanmar cuisine, and they are all delicious. Starting with the very popular Mohinga, there are various kinds of noodles such as Shan Kaosue, a dish of the Shan people, and Nanjit Ut.
The woman with Thanaka on her face was lifting a bowl and picking out the ingredients. She was smiling shyly at the camera, but she didn't stop working. I wasn't sure what kind of noodles she was making, but from the looks of it, it looked like sichat kaosue.
