Many roses are grown in the French-style garden in Shinjuku Gyoen. Each rose has its own name, but I cannot tell them apart at all. To an amateur, they all look like the same rose.
Some of them are called Princess Michiko, but I can't tell how they differ from the others. If you look at them, you may feel a sense of elegance. Among these roses, there was one that was growing straight up to the sky. It was a rose that seemed determined to reach for the sky.
