Female Attendant Walking In Atsuta Jingu

Shinto priestesses walking

A Shinto priestess was walking alone

Shot at Atsuta Jingu, a Shinto shrine in Nagoya, Aichi.

The approach in this shrine was wide. Yet a few worshipers were walking.

When I walked the deserted approach while I headed for the torii which was seen at the end of the way, I found a female attendant walking. She was wearing a costume for the female attendant. Because the approach was unpaved, I worried that the hemline became tainted. Yet she seemed not to care about it. She walked at a brisk pace.
