Mother Fixing Her Daughter's Hair

Mother fixing daugther's hair

The daughter had a smartphone in her hand

Shot in the city of Yangon, Myanmar.

The Chinatown where I stayed was located in the downtown and many locals dwelled here. The streets were bustling and many stalls did business by the roadside. The category of the stalls varied by the time of day. There were many stalls and street vendors selling the perishable goods midmorning. The streets looked like a food market. The mother and her little daughter in this photo sat in front of one of the stalls.

The mother was fixing her daughter's hair while tucking her daughter between her knees. However, the girl seemed not to be welcomed. She was interested in the contents on her smartphone. And the girl looked for an opportunity to break loose. She might be too young to feel the parental affection.
