Little Nun In The Busting Area

Little nuns walking sidewalk

Some little nuns walked the sidewalk in the bustling area

Shot in the city of Yangon, Myanmar.

Stepping off a sidetrack, many people walked on the sidewalk. The wide street was bustling. I stopped by the wayside and watched the people wandering back and forth without paying attention. In the meantime, some little girls wearing vivid pink clothes appeared in my sight. They were nuns. The major persuasion of Buddhism in Myanmar is Theravada. So it was common to become a nun for girls.

Because I saw some groups of the nun just before in another wide street, it might be the time of asking for alms. So these nuns seemed to also ask for alms. Nevertheless, the faces of them didn't seem happy. To walk around the city to ask for alms is one of their training. It might be painful to walk under the strong sun even though they could accumulate virtues.
