Rambling along the streets, I found a small shop. An old man who was stripped to the waist was sitting at the entrance. He was a craftsman and worked there. What he made were lanterns. Some lanterns were hung from the eaves of his shop.
Chinese New Year was approaching and the lanterns decorated the city. There were many Chinese residents in George Town and these lanterns were used for the festivity of Chinese New Year which was one of the biggest events for Chinese.
