Walking around Tainan, I saw what looked like a workshop. Inside the workshop, several women were quietly working. The woman in the photo was one of them. This workshop seemed to be a studio where the eight sacred silk curtains are made, which are used to decorate the altar. The walls were decorated with a number of finished "eight sacred wooden curtains".
A large piece of cloth was stretched between the wooden frames in front of the woman and she was just pulling and sewing the threads together. Intrigued, I walked up to her and she stopped for a moment, but she immediately went to work again. There were spools of thread and scissors lying around on the fabric. The woman's keen gaze was fixed on the ends of the threads.
