In Kathmandu, there are Hindu shrines here and there. There are many gods in this city. There was another small shrine in Durbar Square. And some men were stationed at the entrance of the small shrine.
Built-up men who looked like manual laborers were sitting at the entrance, so even those who came to pay their respects were afraid to enter. I didn't know why they bothered to rest in front of the shrine, but there are so many gods in this city that the distance between them and humans may be much closer than I think. I guess these men aren't feeling fearful in front of the shrine either.
