As I walked through the old town of Patan, I saw a group of people walking at the end of an alleyway. At the front of the group of people walking at a trot was a woman. And men were following behind her. Looking closer, I saw that even a dog was following the woman. Where the hell were they all going? Maybe they were on their way to protest somewhere. Anyway, the woman was cool as she walked proudly with her group.
When I think of a woman leading a group of people, it reminds me of Delacroix's famous painting, "Liberty Leading the People". The painting shows a woman holding a French flag and leading people. It would be an exaggeration to say that the woman at the front of the picture looks like the woman in the painting.
