House Of Rock In Kandvan

House of rock

The houses were rock-shelters

Shot in the village of Kandvan, Iran. The houses in the village were made with rocks. The hill slope was filled with the rock-hewn dwellings. And the locals were still living in them. They were cliff dwellers. Because there were many electric wires, they seemed to have access to power. I was very impressed and enjoying rambling along the lanes.

During walking around, I found two little walking together. They pulled the hood over their head. Their houses could be also made with rocks.
