Hair Binded Girl

Hair binded girl

Her eyes were fringed with Kajal

Shot in the city of Kathmandu, Nepal.

A little girl who bound her hair sat by the wayside. Around her eyes were painted in black. It is called Kajal and believed that it protects the eyesight and vision from the sun. Besides, it is said that it guards children from the evil eyes. Possibly she couldn't see me and was looking around seeking her mother because she caught a scent of danger.
