I have no memory of the time when I was riding, even though I must have been riding too. So, of course, I don't know how old I was when I ended riding in a stroller.
A young couple walking in front of me in Ginza was also pushing a stroller. They were carrying a large stroller, but the baby, the most important part of the stroller, was not in it. The body of the baby was in the father's arms.
I wondered which would be more comfortable for the baby, to be carried in the stroller as if he were in a car, or to be carried by his father. My first thought was that it would be more comfortable for the baby to be carried by the father, as the father's face would be close to the baby's and the father's warmth would be felt.
But for this baby, it doesn't seem to be so. The baby, who was being held by her father and looking back, looked around with wrinkles between her eyebrows and an uncomfortable expression on her face. He looked as if he wanted to escape from his father's arms at any moment.
